FDC produced for the 20c Breeder Reactor stamp (Sc. 2008) from the block of four 20c stamps issued in honor of the Knoxville World's Fair on April 29, 1982 (Sc. 2006-09). The stamps feature solar energy, synthetic fuels, a breeder reactor and fossil fuels. Multicolored maxi card produced by Mavis Pudding for the National Museum of History and Technology at the Smithsonian Institution, featuring a photograph of a "stellarator", an early device used to control nuclear fusion.
