TRIPLE FDC originally produced for the 20c Fire Pumper coil stamp issued in Alexandria, Virginia, on December 10, 1981 (Sc. 1908) as part of the Transportation Coil Series. This cover also features two other First Day Cancels: (a) a July 7, 2002, Washington, DC, cancel on the "First Class" Antique Toy Fire Engine / Fire Truck booklet stamp (Sc. 3629), and (b) a July 26, 2002, Rochester, New York, cancel on the 37c Antique Toy Fire Engine / Fire Truck stamp (Sc. 3645),. Both stamps feature an "HN" perfin (perforated initials) -- the initials of Hideaki Nakano, the cachetmaker who created this cover. Black cachet produced by Artmaster, featuring an early horse-drawn fire engine fighting a fire. Unaddressed.
