The early federal duck plate blocks are very difficult to obtain.  scott cat is $3,500 and my usual retail is $4000.   this plate block has very fine centering and is never hinged.  this plate block came from a large consignment and the offering prices are what dealers usually pay.  the plate block pictured is the one you will be buying.
