Every Christmas Season the FDC-collecting Ries Chapter of the AFDCS gathers at the home of member Bob Lewin for our annual YULE TUBER party! Bob and his wife Annie bake enough potatoes for everyone, and the other club members try to bring unique and creative toppings for the potatoes. Everyone has a TUBERB time!As a reward for driving all the way to Temecula (over 100 miles for some club members) a complimentary cover is always created to handout. In 2014 the U.S. Holiday issue was Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Friends . . . and the BUMBLE single lent itself perfectly to depicting our host. Bob, as THE A•BOB•NABLE SNOWMAN!
The cover folds down to fit your album . . but opens up to more than 11" to show 'Bob' approaching over a snowy hill while the rest of us potato-people club members flee for our lives!
The Bumble single is nicely canceled with the Digital Color Postmark First Day of Issue cancel of November 6, 2014 in Washington DC.
