NOTE: Almost every page in the album is pictured, please be sure to go over all of the photos.A beautiful old Romanian stamp collection in a Scott Specialty series album (note that it is actually an album for South Asia, but has tape on the spine with "Romania" written on it. It contains stamps from between 1863 through the 1970 (album pages start at year 1858 and go up to 1967, but the oldest stamp included is from 1863, and there are some blank pages with stamps that go past 1967...notes inside the album date it from May, 1970 and valued it at $1129, with 2,678 stamps and 27 sheets, although please be aware that I have not counted the stamps myself, so this number may not be accurate, and do not make any claims to the collections precise value). Includes general issues, semipostals, air mail, postage due, Officials, parcel post, postal tax, and various Occupation stamps. Mix of mint hinged and used, with some that appear to be unhinged in stamp mounts. Has a fair amount of fairly high value stamps and sets. There are 200+ pages; even splicing photos together I couldn't get every page pictured due to the 100 photo limit, so I left out 6 pages that are empty (5 of which are meant for just one or two souvenir sheets) and a few pages that either had only a single souvenir sheet or a small amount of stamps. Even though I couldn't picture everything, close to every stamp in the collection is still pictured, so please go over all of the photos. Note that some pages have plastic protective dividers, so there may be some glare in some photos, and some photos may be a little blurrier/dimmer than I'd like (taking about 215 photos, I sped through the photo taking process more quickly than I usually would). Still, you should be able to get a fairly comprehensive idea of the scope and quality of the collection. Will ship with full insurance and Signature Confirmation service included at no additional shipping charge.
All stamps I sell are from the collection of a philatelist and stamp dealer who was active between the 1940s through early 2000s. Most of the stamps were accumulated before the 90s, and much of the collection seems to have been untouched for multiple decades. As such, in many cases the envelopes stamps are in or pages/cards they are on may be quite aged/yellowed, and info/notes written (such as pricing) may no longer be accurate. Please be aware of this and use your discretion when purchasing. I take care to show fairly clearly everything included in a listing, within reason, even with larger lots, so that you can get a clear picture of what you will be receiving. And please feel free to send any inquiries you may have.
Shipping: If any shipping charges are leftover after I purchase the shipping label (either due to final shipping weight being lower than estimated, or due to PayPal shipping discounts), the difference will be refunded back to you.
Returns: Return shipping is free (for domestic/U.S. orders only) on smaller, simpler listings (such as individual stamps, sets, or small lots of stamps sets) if you are not satisfied. On larger lots or stamp albums/collections, return shipping is paid by the buyer if not satisfied, unless of course there is a gross inaccuracy with the listing (for instance, if I were to send the wrong lot accidentally, or the condition of the items in the lot was not properly conveyed).
