Item Description

This £1 South Africa Company perf 15 stamp is missing the overprint. Both Scott and Stanley Gibbons list only a vertical pair perf 15 (99a and 113a) with the bottom stamp of the pair missing the overprint. They don't mention the single stamp with missing overprint.

This stamp is in used condition and has a hinge remnant. There are perforation problems and a blue stain on the stamp face at the top edge. The cancel may be a revenue cancel.

You may combine this item with other stamp sale lots to save on shipping.
