RARE UNUSUAL LOT 16+ VOLUMES AFDCS FIRST DAYS MAGS EARLY YEARS 1955-1959 NotSeen

These are not seen on the market! American first day cover society afdcs journals form #1 (late 1955) through 1959. These were put together by reg bagley, a dedicated fdc collector in the 1970s. He had contacts with a printer who 3 hole punched them so they could be stored in small 3 ring binders. (binders were old and generally falling apart so i tossed them). I purchased all his material from his widow in 1993 and these have been stored basically untouched for the last 30 years!1st "volume" was 4 pages = 1 folded sheet! Next volume was 8 pages and then upward. Advertisers and articles increased greatly within the first couple years! I counted as 16 volumes here, but september 1956 to august 1957 was all reprinted in 1 big volume,(no hole punches in that one) so actually more volumescondition is generally good to very good. 2 volumes were reprinted on paper, 1 in the black binder and 1 loose but 3 hole punched for binder. The rest are the original magazines. Great find for the afdcs buff and rarely if ever seen.. Afdcs does not sell back issues, they haven't for many years... I believe this is complete for the first 4 years.........!!!!!4 pounds shipped. Can't legally send media mail because commercial mags with advertising, so ground advantage is next best
