RARE Great Americans Issue usage on SMALL BOX: 75c Willkie, (Scott #2192), tied by Thermal CA Sep 9 1992 (town is hard to read) DCDS to roughly 3.25" x 4.25" KODALUX box, addressed to a doctor in the Dept. of Zoology at the University of Florida, Gainesville FL, these boxes were designed by Kodalux (spun off from Kodak due to monopoly concerns) and specifically used as a device for mailing film to the labs, the processing-by-mail thing for Kodalux was from apx 1986-2009, there is tape on the mailer but it is original to the transmittal and it is Magic Tape, rate breaks down as First Class between two and three ounces, properly paid to the penny and impossible to duplicate, Fine-VF.

Glenn Vargas was a photographer who travelled to the Galapagos (and other interesting destinations) several times. He and his wife, Martha, wrote some books on photography, as well as tomes on precious stones and other topics.
