Item Description
The auction item consists of 100 identical stamps as shown in the picture. The stamps are in similar condition, with no major damages. Postmarks are located in various, random places.A Polish postage stamp from 1966 with a value of 60 groszy. It depicts the building of the Academy of Mining in Kielce, founded in 1816. The visible inscription "POLSKA" indicates the country of origin, and the names of the designers, T. Michaluk and J. Miller, are located at the bottom.
It is part of a series of stamps promoting Polish landmarks and historical institutions, issued by the Państwowa Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych (PWPW – State Security Printing Works).
