Long-time Ries Chapter member and part-time stamp dealer, Forest 'Frosty' Godfrey found himself saddled with an entire garage packed to the ceiling with stamps and covers.Last Fall, 'Frosty' graciously invited his fellow Ries Chapter members out to his home for a day-long 'Garage Sale' with the added attraction of a giant Chili Buffet. No true Ries Member could turn that down!
This cover celebrates that event and shows the dire effect that eating chili can have on a snow-man like 'Frosty'! It is franked with the Tamale single from the 'Delicioso' set, and the Snowman single from the 1993 Christmas issue. Theey're cancelled with a facsimile postmark of Oct. 21, 2017
Eat up! -- but don't get greasy fingerprints on all those FDC bargains you're finding at Frosty's!
