Nyasaland 1953 1/2d-20s QEII Pictorial set, Scott 97-111, SG 173-187, MNH/UMM, Cat $63 ............SG Cat £65($87)
Notes: -
1) * The 2/6d and 5/- values have a smooth just detectable touch on gum surface - were originally kept in clear cellophane windows and were never mounted with hinges.
2) The set includes the 1/2d, 2d & 6d perforation varieties

All very fresh with sharp color, well centered, with unmarked (ex *) full original gum.

Very nice 1953 1/2d-20s QEII Pictorial set complete with perf varieties in very fine never hinged mint condition.

Condition notes for mint stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
