NYASALAND 1938 1/2d - 10s WATERMARK SCRIPT, SG 130-142*, SCOTT 54-66, VLMM/MVLH, CAT £165($230).........SCOTT CAT. $106

The 5/- is likely sg 141a and has faint lines across surface and is on plain paper

The 10/- could be 142a blue green and brown red on pale red (not guaranteed to be) and has faintly streaky gum as often on wartime issues.

All very fresh with excellent color, all very well centered, with only very faint evidence of hinging (all appear unmounted at first glance) on otherwise full original gum.

Very nice 1938 1/2d - 10s watermark script set in very fine mint condition.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
