Condition: Nice stampless cover with XF strike of the NY & B dated handstamp & a matching date USPS Hartford CT round date CCL as shown...this also has a '5' manuscript rate marking for the USPS postage applied too...this is ASCC #34 & is the cover that is illustrated in Dave Phillips book (as shown)...ASCC Rarity 8......some typical wear as per the intent and era of this material...a highlight for the postal historian in this area!!!...CV1143 I have added a nice selection of many stamps to my store. I fondly remember going to stamp shows as a child, enjoying going through counter books where I could pick out the 'ideal' stamp for me. The days where local stamp shows would allow this experience are few and far between. I have attempted to re-create this by listing selected stock which you can pick from.
