Item Description

Scott doesn't list the telegraph stamps. This stamp is used. It has a folded perf tooth at the lower left-hand corner and a couple of short perfs.

This stamp is similar to the Scott Bluefields 1L80a listing for the the 1909 15c black stamp with inverted Bluefields overprint, but also has the TELEGRAFOS overprint.

Hiscocks listed Nicaragua Bluefields H20 as a 1911 10c crimson stamp with both the Bluefields and the TELEGRAFOS overprints. This was similar to Scott Bluefields 1L79 with only the Bluefields overprint. Hiscocks didn't include a similar listing with both overprints on the 1909 15c black stamp.

Steve Panting had added a listing for the 15c black stamp with both overprints to his Nicaragua Bluefields listing at his Nicaragua telegraph stamps web site. He also posted an example. Steve has now added this 15c black stamp with inverted Bluefields overprint as RH21a.
