The 25th Anniversary of the First Moonlanding gave Bennett CACHETOONS the opportunity to reveal a little known occurence that took place as Man first set foot on the moon! When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin emerged from their landing vehicle, they were surprised by a Red Carpet, Lunar Dignitaries, and a presentation of The Key to the Moon! They were warmly welcomed by the Moon Men and are still held in high esteem!This First Day Cover of the Calle-designed stamp has a Blue-and-Red-printed cachet with a bit of handcoloring added. Less than 90 covers were serviced.
