Item Description

This Air Mail cover was mailed from Nassau, Bahamas to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1948 franked by a vertical pair of 3d bright ultramarine KGVI, 300th Anniversary (in 1947) of the settlement of the Colony, Fishing Fleet issue, Scott 137, cancelled by a circular date stamp.

The corner card is from 'The Royal Bank of Canada / At Point of Mailing.'

Slit open top, the backflap has a small end piece missing but is otherwise sealed and intact (see scan). No contents or backstamps.

Light horizontal or vertical lines in the images are scanner artifact !
