Hello! This auction is for 3 MINT NEVER HINGED Fine -Very Fine Electroplate INVERTED Precancel "DALLAS N.C." The stamps are Scott # 2168 (Tagged), # 2169 (Tagged) and #2476 (Untagged). The Precancel Stamp Society catalog of Town and Type Precancels states Electroplate precancels are "Used primarily in post offices requiring large quantities of precancels. Electroplates usually contain 100 subjects and are press-applied to entire 100 stamp sheets. Such precancels are usually deep black in appearance and uniformly inked."
