Condition: Sound though with obvious oxidation around the outer margins of the block as a whole.

The 1918 centerline block includes two (upper pair) lightly hinged stamps and two never hinged stamps. There is also pre-printing paper wrinkle along the center which does not seem to appear on the face but can be seen in the reverse image.

Most, if not all stamps (especially 19th Century issues) listed are dipped and checked for faults, and reviewed under a digital microscope and a high-powered UV light to verify no gum stamps are mint and not just "washed." Also, have a handy, extensive philatelic reference library. If there is something in question, a friend who certifies U.S. material for the Philatelic Foundation and will proffer his opinion, too.
