MAURITIUS 1887 2c ON 13c SLATE SG 117 SCOTT 84 VFU CAT £120($160)............SCOTT CAT $130

Very fine used with good color, fairly well centered with a light b53 cancel and a clean reverse side.

Scarce 1887 2c on 13c slate issue in very fine used condition.

Whilst the overprint is of course guaranteed it is worth noting that the un-overprinted stamp has a much higher value.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
