This is a beautiful Scott #26 specimen in XF grade, with a nice dull red color and a town & date cancelation. Printed between 1857 and 1861, the #26 issues used recut plates, resulting in there being no outer frame lines at the top and bottom, and continuous side frame lines that ran from the top all the way to the bottom of the stamp.

The Scott catalog value for a #26 in XF grade is $130.
