Straits Settlements 1938 1c - $5 DIE I + 2c - 15c DIE II GVI Definitive, SG 278-298, Scott 238-252, MLH/LMM*, Cat £225($295).........Scott Cat $241

Important Condition Notes: -

*1) The 4c Orange and 5c Brown DIE II issues are very fine used.

2) The $5 Green & Red on green has streaky gum as nearly always on this wartime issue.

Those notes aside all are very fresh with excellent color, all well centered with just light evidence of hinging on otherwise full original gum (ex*).

Very nice 1938 1c - $5 DIE I + 2c - 15c DIE II GVI Definitive set in fine to very fine mint (and 2 used)* condition.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
