Mint never hinged souvenir sheet, Scott #946a, issued in 1998, the corrected version of the issue marking the 500th anniversary of Vasco da Gama's voyage to India. Design shows the corrected dates "1498-1998" and includes marginal illustrations of da Gama, his ship, and Indians. The single stamp shows a compass rose.
