This Air Mail Special Delivery cover was mailed from Los Angeles, California to Sacramento, CA in 1949 franked by a 15-cent orange Motorcycle Special Delivery issue of 1931, Scott E16, and a 6-cent carmine Twin Motored Transport Plane Air Post issue of 1941, Scott C25, both tied by a machine cancellation.

Air mail etiquette. Los Angeles Terminal Annex duplex with 'Air Mail' barred elliptical killer.

The envelope measures 9-1/2 x 4-1/8-inches.

The corner card, depicting a spread-wing Eagle, reads:
'Los Angeles Examiner

The backflap is sealed and intact. No contents. Purple Sacramento arrival cds verso.
