Item Description

This Scott #2 stamp is unused and comes with an American Philatelic Society APEX certificate that I requested in 2002. The certificate describes this stamp as “Liberia, Scott No. 2, unused, original gum, previously hinged, genuine.” This stamp was one of five copies of #2 I obtained in a collection many years ago. With the help of “The Serrane Guide” book and online sources, I concluded all were genuine, but wanted to obtain a certificate for one of them before trying to sell any. The other four have been sold.
