KUT - BRITISH EAST AFRICA 1895 2.5a BLACK ON YELLOW "LIGHT & LIBERTY" WITH BEA OVERPRINT, SG 36, SCOTT 41, LMM/MLH, CAT £200($266) ..................SCOTT CAT. $220

Fresh with excellent color, well centered, with light evidence of hinging on otherwise full original gum.

Scarce 1895 2.5a black on yellow "light & liberty" with bea overprint issue in very fine mint condition.

Condition Notes for Mint Stamps
UMM = Unmounted Mint - never previously hinged (nh) mint stamps with no gum disturbance

VLMM = Very Lightly Mounted Mint - No hinge remainder but has very slight gum disturbance which may have been caused by a hinge.

LMM = Lightly Mounted mint clear evidence of having been previously mounted but light with full original gum

MM = Mounted Mint - clear evidence of having been mounted with hinge remainder(s) on back

Unused = No gum
