Item Description

This First Flight Cover was mailed from Kathmandu, Nepal to Dacca, (then) East Pakistan on April 15th (I think),1963 franked by:
a 5p golden brown King Mahendra issue of 1962, Scott 146,
a 10p slate blue King Mahendra on Horse issue of 1962, Scott 137,
a 40p olive bister poet Shambu Prasad issue of 1962, Scott 143, and
a 10p ultramarine & rose lilac Mount Everest issue of 1960, Scott 127, all tied to the envelope by two double circle date stamps.

Pink Handstamp Reads: 'First Air Mail Service / Kathmandu - Dacca.'

Verso has a black 'By Air Mail' handstamp on the flap, and a Dacca double circle receiver that provides the date.

The backflap is sealed and intact. No contents.

Light horizontal or vertical lines in the images are scanner artifact !
