Item Description
Hand painted Combo FDC by cachet artist Judith Fogt for the 1c Transportation Series Omnibus Coil issued Aug. 19, 1983, in Arlington, VA. One bullseye cancel on the Omnibus stamp and one bullseye cancel on two additional stamps to meet minimum postage. The additional stamps are the 1c Americana Series Inkwell and Quill and the 18c Transportation Series Surrey coil. Handwritten message on face "Best Wishes to/John Mattler/DK Stone." Pencil note on back identifies them as the designers of the 1c and 18c stamps, respectively. Signed on face. Ringold Stamp Company rubber stamp on back.Seller Information
