JERSEY celebrated the YEAR OF THE TIGER in 1998 with this gorgeous, whimsical souvenir sheet by Victor Ambrose, encompassing a One Pound stamp centered on the Tiger!

Here is a cacheted FDC of that issue, with with scarf-wearing Tiger admiring the Parrot with whom he shares the souvenir sheet!

It received two strikes of the Official JERSEY First Day of Issue cancel.

The reverse bears the PUFFIN CACHETS logo and the inscription that this is cover #1 of only 8 sent to JERSEY for servicing!
