Item Description

The stamps in this listing two stamps issued in 1960 by Côte D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). One was issued to mark the 10th anniversary of the CCTA (Conseil de Coopération Technique en Afrique au Sud du Sahara or the Council of Technical Cooperation in sub-Saharan Africa). This stamp was a common design, issued by each of the 12 members at the time.

A second was issued for the first anniversary of the Conseil d'Entente (Council of Understanding), which is a West African regional cooperation forum formed by Ivory Coast as well as Dahomey, Niger, and Upper Volta in 1959, and joined in 1966 by Togo. (Dahomey has since changed its' name to Benin, and Upper Volta to Burkina Faso.)

All stamps are mint hinged or mint lightly hinged

Côte D’Ivoire was a French colony which issued stamps in its own name from 1892-1945, and used the stamps of French West Africa until independence in 1958.

Return Policy:

US Bidders: 14 days from the 3rd day after the item is sent.

International: 14 days from the 7th day after the item is sent.
