Ireland (Éire), Scott #7550 (Hibernian #D119), used(o), 1982, Sixth Definitive Series: Irish Architecture Down the Ages; stamp shows Cormac's Chapel, named after Cormac MacCárthaigh, the king of Munster, who commissioned the chapel in 1134; the chapel is decorated with round arches and chevron designs, the sandstone chapel is heavily decorated with carvings and frescoes, fragments which can still be seen today; 26 pence, offset lithography printed, no watermark, perforated: 15x14½, black, Scott 2025 catalog value: $1.00. Very slightly off-centered (extremely fine), half-to-three quarter circular, black-inked, single-rimmed, socked-on-the-nose cancellation over the lower left side of the stamp and into the main image, sound back, good perforations. This is not a 'bait-and-switch' offer. The stamp you see will be the one you receive.
