HONG KONG: Two covers; each with Lunar New Year stamps, (Scott #238, #246 &249 on one, #272, #273 x2 &274 on other), total of seven better stamps, both covers are legal size airmail envelopes, addr Albany NY USA, first cover has the rooster and monkeys stamps, along with a Coat of Arms Issue, 1969 machine cnl, cover has printed directional instructions for "Registered" but was crossed off and used for airmail only, VF, other cover has the balance of the stamps and is in lower condition, but has a set of the 1973 Lunar New Year stamps, cover has a stain and is warped a bit, there is a tear from the edge of the cover to the edge of the $1.30 yellow, it does NOT tear the stamp (though the perfs are a trifle blunted), the original owner has noted the catalog value as $19.20 total on the reverse, but that notation is several years old and does NOT take into account THE ON-COVER PRICES, VF

Retail value $35. 

The US Post Office has raised international rates through the roof. I am forced to increase my postage for large size international items accordingly. However, please note that you can buy as many items as you like and the shipping remains the same (the only exception are books and catalogs). I will ship to Asia but the rates are higher.
