225th anniversary of the death of Captain Cook on Hawai'i Local Express Post cachet, FDC, format = $8 mini sheet, flap is open and cover is un-addressed. Cover is approximate size 7 x 4 inch

May 1997, "Hawai'i Post" is established as a messenger and delivery service in Waikiki to pick up and deliver urgent mail. They issued there own express mail postage stamps from 2000 until 2014.
Hawai'i Post operated under the exemption to the U.S. Private Express Statutes that allows local urgent mail delivery carriers.
