Item Description
Franz Karl Delavilla (1884-1967) was a fellow student with Oskar Kokoschka and became a key designer for the Wiener Werkstätte under Bertold Löffler and Carl Otto Czeschka. In 1907, he became a teacher at the Magdeburg College of Arts and Crafts before moving to Hamburg in 1909. From 1913 on, he taught at the School of Arts and Crafts in Frankfurt, and later in the graphics department of the Städelschen Art School. He is known as a stage designer, graphic artist, designer of murals, silverware and jewellery.Fine & clean stamp after the poster. No gum. No hinge.
