Item Description

A stamp showing a Japanese Navy Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero, a carrier-based fighter airplane active during World War II. This stamp was issued by the Guam Guard Mail local post in 1979 for the 35th anniversary of the Great Marianas Turkey Shoot, the aerial part of the Battle of the Philippine Sea on June 19-20, 1944.

This stamp is in Mint Never Hinged condition. It has dry gum.
