The GOLDFINCH was a key singer in the popular American Songbirds set of 2014 -- it was a species that had appeared earlier on several stamps in the State Birds and Flowers issue of 1982.The new stamp is cancelled in combo with the State Bird singles for Washington, and New Jersey on this cover that folds out to show the whole choir of ten Songbirds in the 2014 set!
