Item Description

This is a lot of 21 German Democratic Republic (DDR) stamps. There are mint and used (CTO) issues. Please note that although the stamps appear to have a couple duplicates - they are not. The stamps in the top two rows have vertical lines in the background behind the hammer and compass. The stamps in the bottom two rows have tiny dots in that area. The second photo shows a closeup of two of these similarities.

I'm not a Germany collecting expert nor do I have a catalog so I can't define what the difference is in these seemingly the same sets - sorry. Couple nibbled perfs here and there but no rips, tears, fold, creases, or thins.
