Item Description

SCV $5.50 (2018). Single 1-groschen Imperial Eagle with large shield in USED, F-VF condition. No flaws noted. No gum. The stamp is firm, its color is distinct & it has a black ink cancellation mark. The cancellation mark was applied in "MAGDEBURG" on 17-December-1873 ("17 12 73"). Selvage is attached to the top of the stamp. Embossed center, typographed, no gum, perf 13½ x14½.
