This listing is for a single, used definitive stamps issued for use in the German colony of the Mariana Islands in 1900.

The stamp is listed in Scott as #12, and has a face value of 5 pfennig, which would have paid the post card rate and a few other printed matter rates. 2018 CV $32.50

The Mariana Islands colony was one of the smallest German colonies, with a German population of 3 for several years following its' founding in 1899, and a total population of about 2,000 for much of its' existence.

Insurance will be required for shipments sold for $20 or more in total, _and is included in the shipping rate for this item._ Please e-mail for quotes on shipping if purchasing more than six items! Uninsured shipments sent at buyer's risk. This means that if you choose to forgo insurance, you agree to release me from any future claim via paypal if it should be lost in the mail.

Paypal, Money Orders, and Checks payable in the US are accepted. Credit cards accepted through paypal only. Checks must be drawn on a US bank, or I cannot cash them! (I can no longer accept Canadian Postal Money Orders, even those in US dollars-sorry!)
