Item Description

The item in this listing is a single used postage stamp issued for use in the German crown colony of Kamerun in 1900. This stamp is postally used, and is listed in Scott as #12.

This one has a clear cancel from the Bibundi post office.

Following its' takeover during the First World War, Kamerun was partitioned into French and British zones of occupation. The majority of Kamerun became part of the new French colonial mandate of Cameroun, or else incorporated into French Equitorial Africa. The British zone was maintained as a separate mandate, the northern part of which was eventually attached to Nigeria and gained independence as part of that country. Southern Cameroons and the French Cameroun mandate gained independence as the modern nation of Cameroon in 1961.

Return Policy:

US Bidders: 14 days from the 3rd day after the item is sent.

International: 14 days from the 7th day after the item is sent.
