Georgia, Scott 47, MNH. 1923 lithographed black 80,000r. surcharge on 3,000r. brown Industry & Commerce. One of the few constant plate flaws in the surcharge, the last "0" in the surcharge shows a break, occurs in position row 10, column 5 of sheet of 256 (16 x 16), which is the center stamp in the block of 9. Light crease and a few perf seps in the top row, TR stamp VLH, others including the variety are NH. A wonderful showpiece. 2025 Scott CV: $40.50 as hinged singles.
