WONDERFUL PRE-STAMP EXHIBITION ITEM. The very rare PERTH "LAMB & FLAG" on fine clean, clearly dated Entire Letter. Mackay notes that all but one known strike of this mark are clogged strikes. This strike is actually Very Fine for this very difficult EARLY DISTINCTIVE POSTMARK of a type unique to Perth. Typical filing creases. Overall Very Fine for an item of this type & period.
