Item Description

This stamp was scanned with the Olive-Green, Deep Olive and Bronze-Green color chips in the Stanley Gibbons "Stamp Colour Key." The Olive-Green color chip provides the best match of the three. The Stanley Gibbons 2005 catalog lists the olive-green variety as 32d. SG also lists yellowish olive-green (32), bronze-green (33), deep bronze-green (33c) and slate-green (34) color varieties for the 6d. Scott lists a pale olive green (18a) along with the olive green (18e) variety.

This stamp has a horizontal crease as seen in the scan and a missing perforation tooth on the left side. This stamp has hinge remnants as well.
