Postal markings: black manuscript routing "Via Queenstown," a pair of 80c Laureated Napoleons tied by lozenge of dots "2316" handstamp, black "MENTON 87 2E/19 JANV 70" handstamp, red boxed "PD" (paid to destination), red "2 CENTS" exchange credit to U.S., red transit marking "LONDON, PAID, 21 JA 70," red transit marking "NEW YORK PAID ALL FEB 5," and on the reverse side: black "MARSEILLE A LYON 20 JANV. 70. and a boxed handstamped corner card: "HOTEL DE LA PAIX A MENTON ALPES MARITIMES."
