FIRST DAY COVER 100th Anniversary of the International Red Cross 5c #1239 ARTCRAFT Unaddressed FDC 1963

Condition:Nice, clean example of 1963 First Day of Issue of Scott #1239 5c stamp commemorating the "International Red Cross Centennial". Front and rear of cover are clean. Clean FDC postmark; does not obscure stamp in any way. Some seam glue discoloration. No creases, tears, or folds. Engraved ARTCRAFT cachet in black ink on white cover. Open flap with unblemished gum in mint condition. Postmarked "WASHINGTON / D.C." at top / bottom with "OCT 29 / 9-AM / 1963" in center.

About the Seller...
I am a life-long collector of stamps; the son and grandson of men
who were, among other endeavors, stamp collectors their entire
lives as well. I am in the process of liquidating their combined
collections consisting of Mint and Used singles, blocks, plate
blocks, sheets, covers, postal history and First Day Covers.
