FIRST DAY COVER "The American Woman" 4c #1152 ARTCRAFT Unaddressed FDC 1960

* Nice example of 1960 First Day of Issue of Scott #1152 4c "The American Woman" commemorative stamp

* Engraved ArtCraft cachet

* with vignettes of women in various roles at top,
* and "Honoring the / WOMEN of AMERICA" at bottom

* Envelope flap open; glue condition as noted in "Condition description"

* Oversize Postmark: "WASHINGTON / D. C." at top / bottom with "JUN 2 / 9-AM / 1960" in center

Condition:Front and rear of cover are clean. Clean FDC postmark; does not obscure stamp in any way. No discoloration of envelope seams glue. No creases, tears, or folds. ARTCRAFT engraved black cachet on white cover. Unaddressed cover with envelope flap gum in mint (undisturbed) condition. This cover is in excellent condition.
