Description:

Very clean example of 1948 First Day Cover of Scott #959 3c stamp commemorating the "100 Years of Progress of Women in America". Printed two-color green/mint green and white cachet by Ioor; slight discoloration on front of cover. Reverse of cover clean. Postmarked "SENECA FALLS / N.Y." at top/bottom with "JUL 19 / 9-AM / 1948" in middle.

Condition:

Front of cover clean. Postmark and "First Day Cover" cancel doesn't obscure the stamp(s). Envelope itself has slight discoloration due to its age. Cover is stable with minimal bleed-through of the envelope seams glue. Open flap with undisturbed glue. Printed IOOR cachet. Addressed. FIRST DAY COVER "100 Years Progress of Women" 3c #959 IOOR Addressed FDC 1948.
