Exhibitor notes: Sender is Lance Cpl. J.L. Fieldpost 14 located on the Ladoga Front, From: 5327 = 9TH Battalion / 38th Infantry Regiment. #1 - Preprinted Kenttipostia coat of arms postcard #2 Type 2 Censor Handstamp with two lines of bilingual text and small box for censor's initial or number. Used from December 1939 until 1944. #3 Handstamp of the 38th infantry regiment. Individual unit handstamps later discontinued for security reasons." From November 1939 thru April 1945 Finland was engaged in three major wars: The Winter War against Russia from November 30, 1939 thru March 1940; The Continuation War with Germany against Russia from June 25, 1941 thru September 2, 1944 and the Lapland War against the Germans from September 15, 1944 thru April 24, 1945. Sent 1940, divided back with two black exhibitor's arrows adhered on card, otherwise light corner bumping & toning. Fine condition. Shipping is $2.00 domestic and $3.00 international.
