Item Description

First day of issue cover with a single stamp of Scott number 2499, US Olympian stamp of Eddie Eagan. The stamp was taken from the area of the sheet with the attached description. But the First day of issue cancel does go through this description. This is still in the plastic covering they were placed in by the cancelling process. Postmark is Minneapolis, Mn. Jul 6, 1990. Name and address are in light pencil and can be erased if removed from the plastic. I chose to store them intact. Copy has the Philatelic Sales Division postcard included. See photos. There are single FDC of the other stamps on the sheet listed, plus I do have listings of FDC's of the complete set of five of the stamps. I do not have any covers of the five stamps on one envelope.
