MESSAGE-REPLY CARDS: FIVE intact and TWO REPLY ONLY; for a total of seven; (all Scott #UY3 or UY6), first UY3 (shown third scan) cnl Chicago 1898 flag cnl, reply unused pre-printed, notable doubling to "Detach . . " etc. in LL corner, addr label, nice! Second card sent Akron OH with machine cnl 1900, addr Orono ME and fwd to Bangor, nice FANCY Bangor forwarding postmark with radial cancel, but the best thing about this card is the advertising on the reverse (fancy cnl shown in first scan, ad shown in fourth scan - the only card which the reply card is shown in its entirety), ad is for the Burt Exhaust Head, illustrated, next card used NYC 1902, this might be an electro which would be early for this, soft corners, significant either way as the REPLY card has the bullet hole var AND THE MESSAGE CARD DOES NOT, quite distinctive, also a UY3r with a black spot near Grant's head, which would display well next to the previous card (shown in sixth scan), another UY3r with a break in the frame above ("R" in "CARD" near Grant's head (Seventh scan), then two UY6 cards (better), Providence RI 1914 Time-Cummins machine cnl, intact, last has Boston MA Jan 4 1916 flag cnl with station in field (Dorchester), handstamped with date, all cards are intact (except the two UY3r) and are folded, sm flaws, still an amazing offering with a huge retail value, Fine-VF
