The Claude C. Ries Chapter of the AFDCS holds an annual TacoFest every Spring and delicioso homemade Mexican food is the main attraction.Covers are created and handed out to all attendees. In 2009 the then-recent Edgar Allan Poe issue was used to frank the covers, and the cachet depicted a bloated Poe underneath a Raven piñata refusing the offer of more tacos from our gracious permanent hostess, Shirley Ulling.
The cover was cancelled in Burbank, CA (site of the party) on March 21, 2009 , the day we all overdosed on enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos and albondigas! We said, "Nevermore!", but we didn't really mean it!
